About Mike: It came from my father. For years, from high school through college and well into his adult life, my father pursued photography both professionally and as a hobby - usually capturing the growth of my brother and I throughout our childhoods. But after many years of being on the lens-end of a camera, I became naturally curious about what it was like on the other side. I didn't completely understand nor could I expect what I would find there, but what I found was pure passion and a lifelong mission to make powerful pictures.
There is no greater pleasure than capturing for history the fleeting moments in people's lives - something I've had the honor and pleasure of doing in many facets for more than a dozen years.
I believe clients would tell you that one of my strongest attributes is the ability to remain calm and capture detail in high-stress, high-profile, and/or fast-moving situations. I think they'd also say that my easy-going attitude, charismatic nature, and sheer confidence in any environment helps those on the lens-end let their guard down and organically trust me to capture what's important.
Ultimately, I love what I do. I am so incredibly thankful to have been given the gift I have to see things in a unique way and to capture memories for clients that would otherwise be lost.
